According to the DC State Department of Health Statistics, the 2005 teen pregnancy rate is 64.4 pregnancies per 1,000 girls age 15 to 19 in DC. As the teen pregnancy rate typically lags 2-3 years behind real time, this is the latest rate available.

To celebrate the 57.7 percent in teen pregnancy rate from 1992-2005 members of DC Campaign's Youth Leadership Task Force gave candy apples to members of Councilperson Cheh's staff. (October 2007)
